Program identifies closings and layoffs in advance. When possible, the Task Force immediately begins to work with the company, community and affected individuals to lessen the impact of dislocation. Services and needs discussed at a Worker Assistance Workshop include: Retraining and educational opportunities Unemployment insurance Social service programs Stress associated with unemployment Credit orientation Insurance needs Tips on how to find a new job
