Program serves those in need of food assistance and nutrition education. The goal of this program is to provide emergency food assistance to neighbors facing food insecurity as a barrier to self-sufficiency. As part of this effort program provides its neighbors the opportunity to participate in Nutrition Education workshops that teach hands on cooking skills, meal planning, as well as how to shop and prepare healthy meals on a budget.The Root Cellar is currently offering a no-contact pick up for food assistance

Samaritan Cafe serves a hot, nutritious meal in a restaurant-style environment at no cost to the community at-large. During COVID-19 restrictions, meals are served through the drive through pick-up at both the Rogers and Springdale Centers.Community members that attend the meals are also provided with groceries.
