Program provides assistance to pregnant women and their families before a child is born, then from age 6 weeks forward, the infant-toddler can be cared for in the Ivory M. Conley and Oak Avenue Head Start Centers where infant-to-certified-caregiver ratio is 4 to 1.
The program is designed to assist expected mothers throughout their pregnancy with services, information, and referrals. The program also assures the family childcare for the baby at six weeks old. The pregnant mom program offers: Prenatal Health Care and Education Supportive Postpartum Care Breastfeeding Support Fatherhood Support EHS services after baby is born
