Psychological Testing

The testing process involves a diagnostic intake, objective testing, and report measures. The diagnostic intake is an interview during which the examiner can gather information about the background and current concerns of the client. The objective testing is performed one-on-one with the examiner with the use of a tablet or paper/pencil during the assessments. The report measures are completed by the client or client's parent/guardian about the client's current emotional or behavioral difficulties.

Mental Health Stabilization

Mental health stabilization is a process designed to help individuals struggling with mental health issues find balance and emotional stability. It involves assessing the individual's current condition, determining the underlying cause of their emotional distress, and creating an appropriate treatment plan to help address the individual's specific needs.Through various methods such as counseling, medication, lifestyle changes, or other treatments, a mental health team works alongside the individual in order to achieve long-term recovery and prevent further episodes of distress. Mental health stabilization provides essential support and guidance throughout this challenging journey of healing.

No referral is necessary; anyone needing help will find it only a phone call away.Services can be provided for conditions such as: Substance use disorder Anxiety Depression Bi-polar disorder Schizophrenia Non-emergent crises brought on by COVID-19 pandemicIn addition, program provides referrals to community resources.Note: In response to the tornado that struck Little Rock on March 31, 2023, this program is also providing Mental Health Support and Resource Coordination, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Psychological Assessment

Program utilizes a variety of means to evaluate and identify the best mode of treatment for individuals who have developmental deficits, learning disabilities, neurological impairments, loss of memory, behavioral problems, personality disorders or adjustment problems. Diagnostic techniques may include observation of the person's behavior, interviews with the individual and significant others, psychological testing as indicated, and neuropsychological assessment in situations where organic involvement such as brain injury is suspected. Ongoing assessment may be provided as a means of evaluating the effectiveness of treatment.
