Transitional Homes for Veterans (formerly known as Transitional Homes for Community Reintegration or THCR) serves veteran families who are within 12 months of discharge, served honorably, and are willing to work towards self-sufficiency by providing temporary rent-free housing, financial education, and support services.

Program provides the following services: Facilitates online groups that provide social connection to other caregivers in similar situations Fosters support groups by location to encourage resource sharing and friendships, and Sponsors annual retreats to provide respite and education on relevant issues.

Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists provide intensive services to meet the employment needs of disabled veterans and other eligible veterans, with the maximum emphasis directed toward serving those who are economically or educationally disadvantaged, including homeless veterans and those with barriers to employment.Local Veterans' Employment Representatives conduct outreach to employers and engage in advocacy efforts with hiring executives to increase employment opportunities for veterans, encourage the hiring of disabled veterans and help veterans to gain and retain employment.

Program provides access to comprehensive dental care if client meets ONE of the following criteria: Over 65 years of age Permanently disabled Need medically necessary dental careNo emergency or cosmetic procedures. There may be waitlist for service. Please call for information.If community members have documentation from a physician stating that they cannot receive essential medical treatment due to their dental condition they can apply for the program even if their county is closed.If community members are veterans who meet the qualifications above, they may apply to the program by clicking the link below. Provides mutual support groups whose members are individuals who are involved in substance abuse or have other dependencies or compulsive behaviors.

Provides VA-approved home care services.

Multiple volunteer opportunities available.

Provides a 28 day intensive residential outpatient program and a 12 week outpatient program for people with substance abuse addictions.

Service provides help for veterans and their families in crisis offering Care Coordinator support, Case Management, gun safety locks, Crisis Call line. The program works with health providers and community organizations to help Veterans and their families in crisis including warning signs and tips for talking to children about the crisis.

Promote health, welfare, and dignity of Veterans who identify as LGBTQ+ by ensuring a safe and welcoming healthcare environment that provides psychosocial assessments, hormone therapy, gender-affirming prosthetics, creative art therapy, HIV/STI testing and counseling and care, mental health services, and other prevention and wellness services.
