Program provides a variety of comprehensive and research-based curriculum for every setting from the school classroom to the office break room.Safe DatesHighly engaging and interactive, Safe Dates helps teens recognize the difference between caring, supportive relationships and controlling, manipulative, or abusive dating relationships. Designated as a Model Program by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. In 2006, Safe Dates was selected for the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP), and received high ratings on all criteria. Safe Dates meets many of the frameworks as established by the Arkansas Department of Education, and is appropriate for grades 5 - 12.Sexual Violence Awareness and PreventionThis is a single session program that discusses sexual assault statutes, myths about rape, the effects of sexual violence on a victim, what to do if someone has been sexually assaulted, red flags of dangerous relationships, and date rape drugs. Safety tips and resource information are offered throughout program. This program is appropriate for grade 7 through and adult.Sexual HarassmentThis can be presented as a single session or in a multi-session format and defines sexual harassment while discussing behaviors that constitute sexual harassment and the effects of this type of harassment on the victims. Steps to fight and report sexual harassment are given to the audience. We have curriculum for multiple age groups, ranging from 3rd grade to adult.Media LiteracyThis can be presented as a single session or in a multi-session format and raises awareness of the methods by which media often distorts views of sex, relationships and gender stereotypes by using examples such as print advertising, songs, movies, video games, etc. to illustrate the impact media has on our society. This program is appropriate for grades 7 through adult.Aggressors, Victims & BystandersThis is an evidence-based, multi-session program that teaches students to examine their own roles as aggressors, victims, and bystanders, and to help the students develop problem solving skills and new ways of thinking about how they can respond to conflict in each of these roles in ways that are non-violent. This program is appropriate for grades 7 through adult.Tough Guise: Violence/Media & the Crisis in MasculinityThis is a single or multi-session program that examines how our society has been conditioned to view masculinity and provides information on gender violence. This program is appropriate for grades 7 through adult.Bully ProofThis is a multi-session program and meets several of the frameworks as established by the Arkansas State Department of Education. Bully Proof discusses teasing, bullying, and other various levels/degrees of bullying. The facilitator utilizes role play, hand outs, and other techniques to reduce bullying within the school system. This program is appropriate for fourth and fifth grade students.
