Benefits are distributed through an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card. SNAP benefits can be used to purchase eligible food items for home consumption including seeds and plants which produce food for consumption by SNAP households. Farmers markets are available for SNAP benefits as well as eligible retailers. In addition to food assistance, the program provides SNAP recipients with nutrition education, employment and training, and work experience in some cases.Call (800) 997-9999 toll-free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to: Report a lost, stolen or damaged EBT card. Select a PIN when one receives a new card. NOTE: There is no need to change one's PIN if one requests a replacement card. Telemedicine

Program allows health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients in remote locations using telecommunications technology. Telemedicine permits two-way, real time interactive communication between the patient, and the physician or other practitioners at a distant site. Some programs may also incorporate other forms of communication including transfer of medical information such as CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound studies, radiographic images and pathology images to medical personnel at another site for review and analysis. The technology is also being used in other related areas of practice (e.g., mental health, substance use disorders, gambling) as well as for teaching and remote caregiving purposes.

Arkansas homeowners and renters affected by the recent tornadoes and severe storms that occurred May 26, 2024, who lie in counties that have recently been designated for Individual Assistance, may apply for help from FEMA. Disaster assistance may include financial help for temporary lodging and home repairs along with other programs to assist families recover from the effects fo the event.As soon as it is safe to do so, residents are encouraged to start cleaning up. They should take photos to document damage and begin cleanup and repairs to prevent further damage. They are urged to keep receipts from all purchases related to the cleanup and repair.NOTE: Application deadline is July 30, 2024.

Program is a faith-based recovery home for women. Staff works with residents and teaches through a mentoring relationship with a Christian woman who resides at the JOHN 3:17 home and with other Christian women who volunteer their time.
