24 hour HotlinePeople on staff to speak with you 24/7.Life can be difficult. Statistically, most people find themselves in need of some mental health or behavioral health care at least once in their lifetime. This might be due to a particular situation that has occurred or just one's innate biology. Either way, seeking care is nothing to be ashamed about. It is a more common need than most people believe. The key is seeking treatment early.
Operates a 24-hour, 365 days a year crisis hotline. Through this hotline, Advocates respond to the needs of community members, whether it is a victim needing safe shelter or just advice.
Trained advocates are available to talk to you about your particular situation, to provide emotional support, to offer referrals to community resources, and to help you make a safety plan to leave your abuser.
Program provides an in-state option for calling the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.Veterans can access the Veteran Crisis Line by calling the national line at 1(800) 273-8255 and pressing 1. Anyone can also text the crisis line by sending TALK to 741741, or chat online at www.chat.suicidepreventionlifeline.org.
Program provides domestic violence services for the United States, U.S. Territories, Canada and Mexico. They can connect victims and survivors with local programs across the country.
The 24-hour crisis hotline provides support and direction for parents and providers regarding the Safe Haven law, including Safe Surrender locations, adoption resources and parenting support. The National Safe Haven Alliance also can provide direct resources to assist and prevent infant abandonment. The crisis hotline, (888) 510-2229, is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by social workers, nurses, and paramedics that have received comprehensive training and are able to support and assist parents and providers.
