If community members lost coverage because they failed to provide requested information, they still can provide that information and have their coverage re-opened. They have 30 days to do so after their closing date if they qualified for Medicaid under Long-Term Services and Supports eligibility rules. They have 90 days after their closing date if they qualified for Medicaid under Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) eligibility rules.If one loses their card, they should call 1 (800) 482-8988 as soon as they notice their card is missing.NOTE:DHS is beginning the renewal process for ALL Medicaid beneficiaries NOW! If community members receive any request from DHS in the mail, THEY MUST RESPOND WITHIN 30 DAYS. Residents are expected to abide by house rules which vary from facility to facility. Program provides a variety of methods to help consumers avoid foreclosure and eviction. Services may include the following: Mortgage Renewal Program helps reduce or eliminate past due amounts and bring the mortgage current. Refinance Program has established relationships with very reputable lenders who can give loans on mortgages that are in foreclosure if there is enough equity in available in the property. Sell Your Home One may sell one's home before the Foreclosure Sale Date. Sometimes the home owner is unable to sell the outright at the desired sale price and this is not an option. Short Sale Program may be able to negotiate a Short Sale on consumer's behalf with lender(s). In this instance the lender may take less than what is owed on the loan to avoid a lengthy and costly foreclosure process. Deed-in-lieu of Foreclosure Program can arrange for consumer to simply give the home back to the lender and walk away with a clean slate. Pre-foreclosure Program can help consumers stop the foreclosure before the date of sale and negotiate with current lender(s) to reinstate the mortgage and stop legal actions against consumer. Post-foreclosure Program can keep consumer in the home after the house has been sold by using loss mitigations and foreclosure laws to protect the consumer.
