They offer an Alzheimer's/Dementia Workshop and a Physical Skills Workshop. Workshops can be scheduled at a location for groups of ten or more. One of services provided by the RSVP Community Outreach program is Medicare assistance and advocacy. Volunteers serve by assisting Medicare beneficiaries (both aged and disabled) in: Applying for federal Low-Income subsidy and the Arkansas Medicare Savings Programs; Problem solving snafus with Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) and private insurers; Choosing Medicare Part D prescription drug plans or Medicare Part C advantage plans; Counseling new Medicare beneficiaries about coverage and gaps and; Educating Medicare beneficiaries about the availability of free preventive health care services.

Individuals who are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires and responding to emergency situations where life, property and-or the environment are at risk. They are frequently the first emergency personnel at the scene of a traffic accident or medical emergency and may be called upon to put out a fire, treat injuries or perform other vital functions. They also rescue victims and provide emergency medical attention as needed, ventilate smoke-filled areas and attempt to salvage the contents of buildings. Duties may include fire prevention, emergency medical service, hazardous material response, search and rescue, and disaster management. They are also a safe haven for abandoned newborn babies.
